Hallucinations-hearing and seeing things that only exist in the mind of the consumer."

This could be a symptom of mental illness, but it could also be a symptom of a psychic who has opened up.

See No difference to Psychic Clair Senses...

Clairaudience / Hearing - auditory hallucination

Clairvoyance / Seeing - visual hallucination.

Clairscent / Smell - olfactory hallucination

Clairgustance / Taste - gustatory hallucinations

Clairagency / Feel - tactile hallucination

The word "hallucination" itself was introduced into the English language by the 17th century physician Sir Thomas Browne in 1646 from the derivation of the Latin word alucinari meaning to wander in the mind.

So true!! Agreeing with you 100% here Owl.
Who is to say, that a ''visual hallucination'' is not Clairvoyance aka - Clear seeing.
Or that voices are not Clairaudience - Clear hearing.

So. sometimes there are clear differences .. some people may be unwell I can't deny that. But think about this Psychosis translates in Greek to ''The soul, the mind''.

One thing I found interesting was teh glance over or anisthesia (sp?), if we can put our consciousness to sleep with it, then what does that say about consciousness, is it a biproduct of teh brain or mind? Seems if it was teh mind we would always have some sort of consciousness experience, but I do believe consciousness if teh mind, or soul, or whatever, but does anyone have any ideas on how this works? ty for any replies
