Lord Kelvin's water drop experiment

This is one of those things I wish my physics teacher would have demonstrated to exite the class.

I guarantee the first time you see it you will be "What - but how - eh?"

The parts are simple -
a water tank with two openings, or two tanks connected electrically or by water.
Two metal rings or hoops ,
Two metal buckets or containers, or simply metal plates for the water drops to fall onto.
and some wires to connect the rings to the OPPOSITE buckets or plates -

- That's it.

Let the water drops fall from both sides....... And it generates...
