Lost for words?
Misery loves company.
*sits quietly in her comfy chair in the corner. She thinks of “him”, the good times, the bad times. *
Is his spirit now relaxed and pain free?
My pain will fade and I’ll move on. Will that hurt his spirit to see me move on?
My misery welcomes company. Feel free to walk into the room, find your own quiet corner. Let yourself feel.
I may roam around here and there. I feel comfort here.

*listens to all the songs they shared with each other. Last week she cried listening. This week, she feels more at peace. More acceptance. The songs bring her a smile to close her eyes, feel the music, feel the more powerful or touching moments.
The songs bring the memories but not as much pain in her chest when she thinks that their dreams together are over. Their dreams are over but she will create new ones. She fades into the memories and allows a few tears to escape.
Allow music to soothe

I know there is not much I can say that will ease your pain but I understand many of the questions you are asking yourself
I have asked myself a thousand times over and I know many others have. What about that, moving on part?
It's a tricky one I understand. Painful to imagine and the unknown of how they would feel about it if they were still physically here with us. For me personally it took a lot of time to give myself permission to do so many things
To even smile again, some days. To take down photographs, there are so many challenges we face and many of them are so painful to think through. What does moving on mean to you? ......
a myth and assumption from others could be that it means we have dealt, that the pain has lessened. It can appear that way for observers, but don't ever let others views get in the way of your healing. To move on is simply giving yourself permission to do what you know your friend/relative would have wanted for you. You knew your friend/relative better than anyone else.. You most likely will have a feeling/knowing within that they would want nothing but the best for you,

I Don't think he would be angry at all. Not sad either to see you being happy/happier
Is his spirit relaxed and pain free?... Yes it definitely is .. that's something I can promise you

No worries about talking/posting here. This board has always been here for a reason and it's good to let it out.. vent/talk away. I still stand by this.. losing loved ones (related or not) is the hardest thing we'll face in this lifetime. You have permission to feel and grieve exactly how you are, without apologizing to anyone. Hugs
Sam J

Thank you SamJ
*finds a quiet bench in a park. Listens to the birds and sounds of nature. The white tulip from SamJ forms a garden to the side.
several benches in the park have others sitting quietly and reflecting.
Her tears are dry, she feels at peace today

Goes to her comfy chair in the corner. Curls up her legs, wraps a cozy blanket over her body.
Closes her eyes and thinks of a reading she just had with samanthaj (thank you!)
Imagines holding her recently deceased loved one. Love, forgiveness and peace. Sadness will continue but without being compounded by guilt, doubt and anger.
