Missing My Vacation Already

I'm back to work in roughly 2 hours after 2 weeks off, and it's such a strange feeling. The first half was a family vacation, very couple-heavy, two anniversary celebrations. I felt very out of place and awkward most of the time, but we went to Siesta Key, Florida and it was beautiful. Warm and sunny, ocean air. The last half we were back home but I took time off to write. Now it's 29 degrees out and no amount of blankets will warm my feet. I haven't slept because I got used to writing well into the wee hours and sleeping until mid-morning. Now I have to be at work at 7 and I'm super bummed to be switching back into this life again. It's not a bad job. It's just so demanding and draining so by the time I get home I have very little energy and creativity left. I never get as much sleep as I need, so I'm always overcaffinated and anxious. Just whining, I guess. I'm sure everyone feels this way, generally speaking.
